Francine &8220Frances&8221 Pearl Dodge Obituary (1943

Francine "Frances" Pearl Dodge, age 78, of Elgin, IL, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital with loved ones by her side on September 14, 2021. She was born March 31, 1943 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Paul and Kathryn Pearl Tyda (nee Ponczko). Frances lived a simple life. She was a big fan of both Elvis and the Chicago Bears. She enjoyed chatting, playing cards and Bingo with her friends, BBQ's with her apartment neighbors, and going out to eat when her daughter came to town. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vincent Tyda; sister-in-law, Marlene (Jerry) Tyda; and her dog, Happy. She is survived by her children, Steven Dodge and Theresa (Paul) Gasser; brothers, Jerry Tyda, Donald (Barbara) Tyda, and Hank (Geri) Tyda; grandchildren, Sheena Gasser, Tesha (Jeremy) Buboltz, and Jordan Gasser; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Gracie, and Maximus Buboltz; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 104 S. State Street, Elgin, IL 60123. Rev. Fr. Chris Kuhn will be officiating. Interment will be private.
