Jimmy was a welcoming face at Symonds-Madison, serving families with warmth and compassion. He was an Elgin resident for more than 25 years, living just down the street from the funeral home.
Jimmy leaves behind three daughters, six granddaughters, one grandson and one great-grandson. He enjoyed playing Santa Claus for his family and nursing home residents. Jimmy’s hobbies included playing guitar, tennis, skiing, hunting, hiking, mountain climbing, writing children’s stories, and playing cribbage. And he was always ready to either tell or hear a corny dad joke or two.
You will be greatly missed, Jimmy!
